How can I get hold of green or roasted samples?
Please either phone or email us or use the contact form here to order green or roasted samples, all free of charge. Our standard quantities are 100g green or 50g roasted. If you would like more, please let us know. We sample roast on an Ikawa, in accordance with SCA sample roasting guidelines.
How do I place an order?
All orders can be placed by email or phone. We will send an email outlining your order – with price, quantity, addresses and contact details. Once we receive your confirmation, we will release your coffees from the warehouse and issue the invoice.
Is there a minimum order?
Minimum order is one bag.
How is the coffee stored and transported?
Our coffee is stored at Vollers, a specialty coffee warehouse located in Bury St Edmunds. We can arrange haulage, or feel free to make your own arrangements. We are always happy to arrange consolidation with orders from other importers who store at Vollers – if you would like to add any of our bags to a wider order, just let us know. Our coffees are stored as follows:
- China – 60kg jute or polypropylene, Ecotact lined.
- Myanmar – 60kg jute, Ecotact lined.
- India – 50kg jute, Ecotact lined.
- Philippines – 60kg jute, Ecotact lined.
- Thailand – 50kg jute, Ecotact lined.
How long does an order take to arrive?
If made before 1pm, we can arrange for orders to be delivered anywhere in the UK two days later. For example, if you order before 1pm on Monday we can guarantee its arrival with you by 5pm on Wednesday. Cheaper options include 48 or 72 hours delivery time – in the above scenario, arriving on Thursday or Friday.
For orders within the EU, delivery generally takes between one week (Berlin, Paris) to two weeks (Athens, Sofia).
What payment terms do you offer?
For first time customers, we require payment in advance of the coffees being released. Generally speaking, further orders may be paid within 30 days from invoice date. Invoices are issued in GBP. For other currencies, we accept the use of money transfer services such as transferwise to convert your currency to GBP.
What’s included in the price?
Prices quoted on our offer lists are £/kg EXW (Ex Works), which means the buyer is liable for all warehouse release fees and onward transportation costs. Also included is storage for up to 28 days after the buyer requests release of their bags.
